Loose paper: Puzzling Poem

Loose paper transcribed: Puzzling Poem

This was a loose piece of paper wedged in between page 62 and 63. I would love to know what the intent/meaning behind the puzzling poem is.

Flower in the crannied wall
I pluck you out of the crannies
I hold you here, root and all, in my hand
Little flower if I could understand
What you are, root & and all, and all in all
I should know what God and man is
